At your first appointment, we carry out a thorough assessment of your foot health, create a tailored treatment plan, and begin treatment where appropriate.

What’s included

• Comprehensive examination and assessment

• Treatment plan and initial treatment as needed

• Gait Foot Scan, with results graded as:

  • Green – no further intervention required at this stage

  • Amber – further input recommended

  • Red – further intervention required

If your result is Red or Amber, we will usually recommend booking a Biomechanical Assessment as a follow-up to explore underlying causes and plan next steps.

How we charge (time-based, not “per problem”)

Our appointments are charged in 30-minute time slots, unless additional costs are incurred due to specific services or equipment requirements.

Many people contact us for help with a specific issue and expect to see that issue listed as a separate service. We deliberately charge by time, because your appointment often involves both diagnosis and treatment, not simply a single procedure.

While time-based pricing can appear more expensive at first glance, once you compare the total cost of multiple itemised treatments at other clinics, many people find our approach is often better value overall.

Why we work this way

• We employ highly trained medical staff, whose role is to diagnose as well as treat.

• We focus on prevention and long-term foot health (the gait scan is one example), rather than waiting for problems to worsen before addressing them.

If treatment is needed for multiple issues, we will discuss your priorities and agree the best plan for the time available.

Fees and follow-up discount

• Standard podiatry treatment fee: £60

• If you schedule a follow-up appointment for routine care, we offer a self-management discount of £15, reducing the fee to £45.

  
  

Important: The self-management discount does not apply if we assist with the booking process. If you previously received the discount and your fee has changed back to £60, this is usually the reason..
